The story of
Sulphonia Factory
- Dates back to Omdurman Soap and Chemicals Company 1982, located in Omdurman
- Due to the great shift towards powder soap by the Sudanese consumer, the demand for it has increased greatly, and the company started thinking to meet that demand, that’s when The Italian Palestra company began implementing the project of the Sulphonia Factory, and that was in the year 1999
- The first trial operation took place in May 2007
Sulphonia Factory produces multiple and varied products, located to the south of the local market in Khartoum estimated area of 34,500 square meters, owned by Sulphonia Industrial Co. Ltd
- Production capacity is 15 tons per hour
- The factory produces 3 types of powdered soap “Wide Vona and Reel”
